When it comes to the Kia Soul, special-editions are not a new phenomenon. At this point, you can't even count them on one hand.
First there was the Ghost, the Dragon, the Ignition, and the Denim special-edition Kia Souls. Now, we have two more to add to the list. Arriving this May, are the Hamster and the White Tiger.
If you own a TV and watch it, you've probably already guessed the forthcoming Kia Hamster is based on Kia's popular 'Hamster' campaign. We actually had a preview of it last fall, at SEMA. Primarily, it's a graphics wheel package, featuring stripes that run on the diagonal from the fenders to the doors as well as a signature star logo on the hood and rear hatch. As far as subtler changes go, the Kia Soul Hamster also gains body-matching lower bumper trim, black fender vents with integrated market lamps, and black split five-spoke wheels
The interior of the Kia Soul Hamster treats drivers to attention-grabbing red and black leather seats (heated in the front), a push-button starter, automatic climate control, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and signature Hamster floor mats and headrests. At this time pricing details have yet to be released.
Like the Kia Soul Hamster, the Kia Soul White Tiger is essentially focused on graphics, which as the name implies are gray tiger-inspired stripes on the front-side fender. The background finish is, of course white. Other eye-catching additions include color-keyed bumpers, a sporty rear spoiler, 18" black alloy wheels, back fender exits, door alloy fuel, front fog lamps, and signature rear-bumper appliqué.
The interior of the Kia Soul White Tiger is updated with lavish leather seats, heated front seats, leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, push-button start, illuminated sill plates, and automatic climate control...
