Although the new 2013 Kia Forte probably won't be officially introduced until sometime in 2012, some leaked sketches of the project have surfaced online. While we at Pence Kia understand the importance of keeping a secret, we just can't help but to share these special new Kia insights with our dedicated readers. Keep in mind, though, that these are just rumors-although we find the sketches pretty convincing!
The new Kia sketches show a vehicle that is much more round and more modern than the curent model. The design is sleek and sexy with a sloping roofline that resembles the Kia Ray concept from 2010 and the Hyundai Elantra. The front grille, tailings, and headlights are similar to the current Kia Forte and the present 2012 Kia Optima model. The current 2012 Kia Forte was first launched in 2009, and has been available in a two-door coupe and four-door hatchback. It's based on the platform of the prior- generation (through 2010) model of the Hyundai Elantra, and we could see some more similarities in the new model. A great quality to instill based on this platform would be better fuel economy ratings for the new Forte. Although this re-design for the new Forte hasn't been confirmed, these sketches do give us some idea of what we could be seeing from Kia at auto shows in the next six months.
