The Kia Rio has been around for quite a while now. Since its launch in 2005, the Rio has garnered global sales of more than 860,000 units. It was company's third best-selling vehicle overseas during 2010, selling more than 219,000 units. This Kia vehicle hasn't always been a best-seller in the United States, however. That could change this year with the arrival of the new 2012 Kio Rio. The Rio comes in 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback styles and is available in three trims: the base LX, the mid-level EX, and the top SX trim. The Weekly Driver is among many publications to praise the new model  saying, "[T]he 2012 Kia Rio redefines the top level of entry level cars. Several prominent automotive sites have mentioned it as a contender for car-of-the-year honors. It's hard to disagree." Pence Kia finds it hard to disagree as well.1

The 2012 Kia Rio comes with several impressive features, even in the baseline model. Some of these features include: attractive sports wheels, small front corner windows, retractable electric side mirrors, twin chrome exhausts, a sport-tuned suspension, LED accents, six airbags, antilock breaks, and a rear window defogger and wiper. Perhaps most impressive is the Rio's fuel efficiency. The sedan gets 27 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway, while the hatchback gets 30mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway.

Pence Kia could continue to expand on the Rio's specs, but  instead, we invite you to come see it for yourself. Located at 11901 Midlothian Turnpike, Midlothian, VA, we're easy to find. Or, call (804) 378-3000 for more information. We look forward to meeting you soon!
