The 2014 Kia Forte will arrive at our Richmond area dealership with a redesign that is sure to put pressure on other compact cars in its segment. The new Forte has a new look, is packed with many exciting features, and has a starting MSRP that is very budget friendly. Its third generation design sits lower, longer and wider than before giving the Forte more cabin room. Its front end has also been remodeled, offering a new style and improved visibility.
The interior of the vehicle offers drivers and passengers supportive seats, unparalleled vision and blind spot control, easily-read gauges, ample storage space, and upscale materials. Standard features found on the Forte include 12-volt power outlets, heated exterior mirrors, power accessories, steering wheel audio controls, air conditioning and a whole lot more.
For the 2014 model year, the Forte is available in two trim levels: the base LX model, with a starting MSRP of $15,900 and features a 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine capable of 148-hp (optional automatic comes in at $17,400) and the well-appointed Kia Forte EX, trim. This model features additional tech features like a backup camera and Kia's UVO infotainment system, and a more powerful, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine capable of 173 horsepower.
Safety features are everywhere in the redesigned Forte and include traction and stability control, numerous air bags, hill-start assist and vehicle stability management.
