The month of October continued to provide Kia Motors America (KMA) with an increase in sales numbers. In fact, KMA is one of only three auto brands to increase sales in the United States for the past four years in a row. Much of the brands success weighs on its lineup of new Kia models that offer tremendous value and performance.
It was reported that KMA moved 39,754 units this past October. This comes with the introduction of seven all-new or drastically redesigned models that have been released throughout the year including the 2014 Kia Optima midsize sedan and the all-new, second generation Soul urban passenger vehicle.
The Optima continued to lead the lineup in total sales as the sedan marked its 23rd consecutive month in a row with the highest monthly units sold. October saw 11,492 Optima's moved, 135,548 year-to-date. Other top performers were the Kia Soul which had 8,240 units sold in October and the Kia Sorento which moved 8,142.
Looking ahead, Kia Motors America expects to have the all-new Forte Koup and Forte5 here at Pence Kia and other Kia dealers around the country, by the end of this month. Also the coming Los Angeles Auto Show will offer quite a treat to Kia fans as the brand plans to unveil its new 2015 K900. This rear-wheel drive sedan is expected to offer great things in terms of value and features.
